DIY Glass Cleaner

If you’ve ever been to the cleaning aisle at the store, you know how many brands of glass cleaner there are. However, most of these cleaners are similar in their effectiveness. It’s not worth it to me to pay for a name brand when I can just as easily make my own glass cleaner. And after comparing ingredients on several of the brands, I found that they’re all basically made with the same stuff: vinegar and water.

You’ll need:

white vinegar

20 drops of essential oil (optional)

2 empty spray bottles

1 funnel (optional)

How to make it:

Use a funnel and pour 1/2 cup white vinegar into one spray bottle and fill the rest of the bottle with water. For an extra clean scent, add 20 drops of essential oil. Your favorite scents are lemon, peppermint or lavender. Gently swirl the bottle around to mix together. Spray your windows and mirrors liberally then buff with a microfiber cloth

Cleanly would love to clean your home!
